Buried chains of silver

Sterling silver chain bracelet with a raw sterling silver clasp - Each one is hand forged,  patina-ed from egg oxidisation and lightly polished - Totally unique. These looked great with other bangles and chains or just by themselves. 

y'all know I'm a massive fan of silver...

Silver, with its calming Yin energy, is intrinsically linked to the moon—hence its crescent symbol. The Incas referred to it as “Tears of the Moon,” and throughout history, silver has been associated with numerous goddesses connected to lunar energies: Artemis, Mawu, Cerridwen, Hecate, Sina, Diana, the High Priestess, Selene, Bendis, Coyolxauhqui, Ch’ang-o, and Ix Chel, to name just a few. I could delve deeper, but i'm rambling.

From the esoteric adage of “As above, so below,” we understand that certain archetypes manifest in the heavens as celestial bodies and on Earth as metals. The planets and their associated metals share the same energetic makeup, drawing from the same archetypal essence. This is why both alchemists and astrologers used the same pictograms to represent planets and their corresponding metals, with each symbol holding profound esoteric significance.

Silver is a spiritual metal and an astral conductor, aiding in establishing contact with the souls of the departed. Perhaps this is why relics of saints are often stored in silver containers?

To conclude this ode to silver, silver possesses a unique energy—much like a loyal cat, it is fond of its owner and prefers not to be passed from person to person too frequently. So, wear it with pride and cherish it for the long journey ahead.
