According to native Canadian tribal lore, Labradorite is said to contain the Aurora Borealis, after one of their ancestors who broke through the feldspar mineral with his spear and set the northern lights free - But these stones still bare the traces... I mean I do love their labradorescence and imagine that reflected in the sea.
