This double terminated quartz with naturally occurring strands of Rutile, is often called “The Hairs of Venus". It reminds me of those old lockets which contained locks of hair from those you loved or wanted to cast a spell on.

I have always loved Rutilated Quartz, energetically and aesthetically, but they haven't loved me. Twice I have bought a piece and twice I have lost them with in a few days. Clearly this is meant for you and not for me.

This piece has a unique setting, so both ends of this crystal are exposed, and it is hugged by a sterling silver spider web. The spider teaches us balance – between past and future, physical and spiritual. She teaches us that everything we now do is weaving what we will encounter in the future. To me, her web is a symbol of perseverance, adaptability and creative strength.
